Year 5 Enrichment Program

YEAR 5 ENRICHMENT PROGRAM 2026

The aim of this program is to immerse students in an engaging 2 day high school experience which will broaden their perspective on learning and introduce them to our school environment. Students will engage in practical and problem-based learning activities designed to promote higher order thinking. The program will include workshops by our English, Science, Maths, PDHPE, TAS, CAPA and Language faculties.

Dates and Times:

The program will operate over two consecutive days in Week 3 of Term 3.

Families are required to drop their student/s to the high school and arrange for their pickup. Students are asked to wear their primary school uniform and bring a packed lunch; afternoon tea will be provided. Students will also be able to access the school canteen. The menu is available here

This is an excellent transition experience for your student regardless of which high school they will attend in 2027. It is aimed at those students who are talented, hard-working and engaged in their learning.

Numbers are limited and students will be selected on a first-in basis. Please only apply if you expect your child to be available for the two days.

If you have any queries, please contact Pam (bookings) or Rosemary Henzell (Co-ordinator) at Canterbury Girls High School on  9718 1805.  We look forward to meeting you in 2026 and thank you for your interest in this program.
