Uniform
Canterbury Girls is a proud uniform wearing school.
When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community. Learn about our uniform and where to buy it.
All students are expected to wear full school uniform every day. Jewellery is to be minimal and small in size.
Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:
- meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation
- includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics
- is appropriate for the full range of school activities
- is suitable for all body shapes.
Uniform Expectations
- Students are expected to wear their academic uniform on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
- Students may wear their sport uniform to school on Wednesday.
- Students must wear black, fully enclosed, leather-upper shoes with their academic uniform.
Uniform - from 2026
Reji Uniforms will become our official school uniform supplier starting in 2026. New uniform items are currently going through the approval process, with preordering set to open before the end of the year.
To provide convenience for families, Reji Uniforms will operate a pop-up shop onsite at CGHS regularly each week.
Students may begin wearing the new uniform from Term 1, 2026.
To support families, there will be a three-year transition period. During this time, students may continue to wear the current uniform until the end of 2028, with full implementation of the new uniform expected by 2029.
