Community involvement

Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

Our P&C is a group of parents, carers and school community members. They assist with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering. Our P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.

The P&C is actively involved in our local community and our members have been involved in road safety issues, local sustainability projects and have been highly successful in gaining grants to assist school projects.

The P&C meet the third Wednesday of every month at 7pm during school term in the Cantabrian Hall or online via Zoom. All parents and carers are welcome.

We try to keep the meetings short and informative. The meetings are a great way to meet the Principal and find out what's happening in the school.

The P&C have actively supported the school to install the Sue Holden Amphitheatre, providing significant improvement to outdoor spaces, upgrade gym equipment, purchase teaching and learning resources and are currently raising funds for the purchase of STEM equipment.

Joining the P&C a great way to meet other families, get involved and contribute to our school's future. We would love to have you on board!

Fundraising

The P&C fundraise to help the school maintain its reputation in the community and to create the best environment we can. We hold a range of fundraising events, including trivia nights, cinema screenings, BBQs, also raise funds through voluntary parent contributions.

In past years parents and citizens has provided funds for:
